Services for James Benton (J.B.) Sibley, 87, were held Friday, May 27, 2016 at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Stanley, LA at 10:00 AM with Reverend Richard Tull officiating and assisted by Reverend Charles Hall. Interment followed at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation was held at the Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Logansport, LA on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. J.B. was born June 28, 1928, in Mansfield, LA, to William Ernest Sibley and Maudie Morrison Sibley and went home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 24, 2016, at his residence in Stanley, LA. Preceding him in death were sister, Myrtle Woods; brother, Jack Sibley; grandson, Brandon Heath Sepulvado; and great-grandson, Garin Redding Sibley. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Susan Sibley; children, Jackie Sepulvado and husband Davis, Penny Shepherd, James “Bubba” Sibley and wife Jessie, Rhonda Hudspeth and husband Ryan, Anita Dockens and husband Kevin, Billie Timmons and husband Eugene; sister, Sarah Pepmiller; brother, William Sibley, Jr. and wife Jean; 15 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers were grandsons Brodie Sibley, Mackenzie Dockens, Witt Dockens, E. J. Timmons, Jarrod Sibley, and Alan Sibley
