Robert Lee “Bobby” Mitchell, Jr.,59, of Bossier City, La passed away on August 1, 2020 in Bossier City.
Visitation was held from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. with a service directly afterwards on Friday, August 7, 2020 in Mansfield, La at Rose Neath Funeral Home
Bobby was born in LaGrange, Kentucky to Robert Lee Mitchell Sr. and Jo Ann Martin on July 12, 1961. He spent most of his adult life living in Louisiana and Georgia. He was married to Julie Swan for 18 years and they had 4 children together. Bobby was a salesman and a manager of numerous businesses over his career. He loved to go fishing and camping with his family. He was always ready and willing to help anyone in need. He married Beverly DeMoney later in life and moved to Troup, Texas for a few years. The last few months of his life was time spent with his children and grandchildren.
Bobby was preceded in death by his father Robert L. Mitchell, Sr. and his sister Clara Ann Perdue.
Bobby is survived by his spouse Beverly Jean Mitchell; children Christopher Mitchell and wife Erica, Charity Mitchell and fiancé Nathan, and sons Brian Mitchell and Randall Mitchell; stepchildren Ashley Rose, Casey Rose, Gregory Rose and Chelsea Rose; brother Donnie Mitchell of Georgia, sisters Marie Wright of Georgia and Marilyn Bonds of Kentucky; mother Jo Ann Martin of Georgia and grandchildren Camren, Amory, Nathan, Landen, Tegan, Coleson, MaKayla, Arianna, Seth, Aiden, Cole and Lukas.
