Funeral services honoring the life of Eva Gibbs, 90, were at 10:00 AM Friday, August 12, 2016at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Logansport, LA with Reverend Joe Walker officiating. Burial was followed at Gibbs Cemetery in Keachi, LA. The family received friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home on Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 5:00 PM Till 7:00 PM. Eva was born on February 14, 1926 in Aylestowne England to George and Dorothy Swanwick and passed away on August 9, 2016 in Mansfield, LA. Preceding Eva in death were her husband, Lester A Gibbs, parents George and Dorothy Swanwick; daughter, Janet Gipson, and great grandson, Johnathan Ray Gibbs. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, James L Gibbs and wife Beverly of Logansport, LA, Lester Gibbs and wife Barbara of Keachi, LA; daughter, Dorothy Gibbs of Carthage, TX; son-in-law, Johnny Gipson in Rowlett, TX; 10 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren, and 12 great great grandchildren. Those honoring the life of Eva as pallbearers were Troy Jordan, Trent Jordan, Charles Smith, Phillip Gibbs, George Gibbs, and Shane Curry.
