A visitation was held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2020 located at RoseNeath Funeral Home in Logansport, Louisiana. Also, a second visitation was held at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas on Saturday, November 14, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. service time. Interment followed the service located at Holly Grove Cemetery in Livingston, Texas.
Shirley was born on October 16, 1955 in Houston, Texas to Delbert and Faye O’Neal.
Shirley enjoyed several hobbies such as arts and crafts, embroidery, word puzzles, watching her favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys, drinking coffee, and smoking cigarettes. Shirley is preceded by her father, Delbert O’Neal, Sr.; sister, Deborah Faye Doris; brothers, Leslie Ray O’Neal and Delbert O’Neal, Jr.; and grandson, Tyler Michael Hendricks.
She is survived by her husband, Roy Spinks; mother, Faye Louise O’Neal; children, John Frank Hendricks, Jr, Tina Hendricks, Roy Glenn Spinks, and John Wayne Spinks; sister, Florence Irene Lopez; ten grandchildren and numerous cousins and friends.
