

Funeral services honoring the life of Timothy Earl Wheless were held at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 15, 2021, at the First Baptist Church in Logansport, Louisiana. Officiating the service was Rev. Nancy Wofford. A visitation with the family was held on Sunday, August 15, 2021, from 1:30 p.m. until service time at First Baptist Church in Logansport, Louisiana. Interment was held at the Bethel Cemetery in Logansport, Louisiana.
Tim was born on September 24, 1968, in Mansfield, Louisiana to John Paul Wheless and Shirley Marie Chandler Wheless. He entered into rest on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, in Shreveport, Louisiana. “
To know Tim was to love him. He was a good man who loved God, his community, his family, and his church. Tim never met a stranger, and he gave the best hugs. He was well known at LHS for being involved in sports and keeping up with the statistics. He was a devoted youth pastor at Bethel United Methodist Church. Tim’s spare time was spent with family, fishing, and at the beach.
He is preceded in death by his father, John Paul Wheless; grandparents, Burt and Mildred Chandler, and Jack and Eva Mae Wheless.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 22 years, Susan Wheless of Logansport, Louisiana; mother, Shirley Wheless of Logansport, Louisiana; daughters, Ashley Sepulvado and husband Dexter of Zwolle,
Louisiana, Raina Wheless of Logansport, Louisiana, Kelsey Wheless of Logansport, Louisiana; sister, Amy Decker and husband Lee of Lumberton, Texas; brothers, Jason Wheless and wife Billie Kay of Logansport, Louisiana, Jerry Wheless of Logansport, Louisiana; grandchildren, Camdyn Wheless and Draeton Sepulvado; fourth “special” daughter, Susie Cox of Logansport, Louisiana; along with numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
Honoring Tim as pallbearers were Jacob Wheless, Lee Decker, Cody Miller, Dexter Sepulvado, Caleb Wheless, and Nathan Wheless
Serving as honorary pallbearers were be Jerry Wheless and Jason Wheless.
